The first annual FWB Jaycees Zombie Wallk was held.... October 24, 2009 in historic downtown Fort Walton Beach.
TRICK-OR-TREATING IN MERCHANT SHOPS ON BROOKS STREET TO PERRY, 1ST STREET TO THE MIRACLE STRIP
Hundreds arrived to walk along Brooks Street and the Miracle Strip dressed like a Zombie. It was a great family event.
Why register?
We are Attempting THE GUINESS BOOK OF RECORDS FOR THE LARGEST ZOMBIE WALK ON THE PLANET! UPDATE! FOR 2009, WE HAD 475 PARTICIPATING ZOMBIES!
Help us Break it!
For the record we need you to register. Registration at Fokkers. Bring your spouse, bring the kids, bring your friends and any old corpse you find in town. This should be fun.

4 pm until 7 pm
Dress code:
Zombie style
Cost: for each zombie two(2) canned foods for the food banks.
Collection Location:
in the courtyard next to Fokkers
Registration: begins at 4 pm and is ongoing.
Don't know how to look like a zombie?
We can help.
For a small donation we will have Jaycees makeup artists at the registration site to make you up. Come see what it is all about and have fun.
Other activities include:
Dancing to Thriller, brain eating puzzles, and a gift basket drawing.
So rise from your grave and come party like a ZOMBIE!
We intend to conclude the Can Food Drive with a march of Zombies from Fokkers to the corner of Perry at the graveyard. There a live band will be playing Thriller and the Zombie's can show off how well they can dance. So come get down and rise to the music.
Thriller Dance Lessons:
Learn to dance like a Zombie to Michael Jackson's Thriller, every Monday and Wednesday evening from 7:30 to 8:30 at Barefoot Weddings downtown until the Zombie Walk. $5
